Accounts Manager – Preskil Island Resort



Preskil Island Resort is looking for a reliable and qualified Accounts Manager who has a knack for figures to reinforce its accounting department.

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounting department and oversee activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel.


Accounting duties

  • Prepare balance sheet, cash flow, profit and loss statements
  • Monitor bookkeeping activities
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Prepare budget and forecasts
  • Prepare and review variances against budget
  • Follow up of inventories
  • Close monitoring of cash flow

Financial Analysis

  • Analyse financial information and prepare monthly and yearly financial reports in accordance with appropriate accounting standards
  • Establish, maintain and co-ordinate the smooth implementation of all accounting control procedures
  • Regularly reviews the established accounting system in collaboration with the Internal Controller to analyse risks and correct any operational problem


  • Verify monthly wages before the final run

Audit Compliance

  • Ensure that audit queries and complaints are attended efficiently

Statutory activities

  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with financial and tax authorities
  • Prepare and submit all statutory returns

Team Management

  • Manage and coordinate activities of the accounts department
  • Provide guidance to other team members whenever required

Internal control

  • Where applicable, assist the Internal Control department in ensuring procedures are strictly adhered to and control processes are in place



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in hospitality would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of accounting software sicorax
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
