Committed to harmonious, balanced and sustainable development of the South East, we are looking for a high-performing and energetic Assistant Land Surveyor to assist the Professional Land Surveyor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the field staffs
• Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools (Total station and GPS)
• Prepare sketches, notes and perform electronic data collection
• Prepare site surveying documents
• Process field data and interact with survey technician/draughtsman
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
• Review drawings prepared by survey technician/draughtsman
• Ensure proper maintenance of the survey equipment
• Assist the Professional Land Surveyor in his day-to-day activities

Profile

• Diploma in Land surveying or any relevant qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in land surveying
• Well versed with the use of Office Suite, CAD and GIS software
• Proficiency in the use of a range of Survey Instruments from simple distance measuring wheels to advanced global positioning satellite (GPS)
• Organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Possess a valid driving licence
