COMMUNICATION MANAGER

Compagnie de Beau Vallon Ltée is one of the main economic players in the Southeast of the island. We have considerably diversified activities over the past fifteen years into key sectors such as diversified agriculture, hospitality and property development.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and creative Communication Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for all internal and external communications with the aim to produce high-quality contents that are engaging and build brand recognition.

Know-how

  • Develop and implement an effective communication strategy that create brand awareness
  • Manage and lead communication with the support of the different clusters
  • Create appropriate communication strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions
  • Give strategical advice to the creative team, agencies and partners to produce relevant content for the Group and its clusters
  • Plan and organise content production (magazine, website, photos, etc.) for internal and external use (press releases, press kits, newsletter, and related marketing materials)
  • Responsible for the content, design and production of all media contents
  • Monitor the Group media plan
  • Manage the corporate reporting (annual reports of the Group)
  • Manage the communication related to CSR and environmental driven initiatives (Pointe d’Esny Sanctuary Foundation)
  • Manage the website and its content
  • Monitor the Group social media content and online presence
  • Coordinate and organise press conferences
  • Support the management team on crisis management and respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
  • Organise and manage promotional events

Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (French & English)
  • Proactive and creative, with the ability to produce innovative and original ideas
  • Brilliant presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
