Purchasing Manager
The Purchasing Manager will analyze the buying process and create the best methodologies and practices for day-to-day purchasing operations. He or she will also be responsible of purchasing activities including the sourcing process as well as the coordination of the purchasing team at hotel level.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for regular tender exercise
- Seek approval from tender committee
- Assess current policies, procedures and practices with a view to continuously improve the purchasing system
- Ensure that purchasing process is strictly followed
- Liaise with the team responsible for inventory control
- Identify ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock
- Monitor and forecast stock turnover
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Perform cost analysis and benchmarking
- Seek and partner with reliable suppliers
- Close deals with optimal terms
- Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports
- Ensure clear requirements documentation
- Ensure that quotes and suppliers’ price list are regularly updated
Profile:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
- Mininum of 5 years’ experience in the field is a pre-requisite; experience in the hospitality industry would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
