We are looking for a committed and results-oriented Resident Manager to support the General Manager and his team in the daily operations of the Preskil Island Resort which forms part of Southern Cross Hotels.

The ideal candidate must be a team player and an effective leader with a passion for high-quality service.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work in pairs with the General Manager to coordinate all daily activities
• Develop and continuously improve the F&B strategy to provide innovative guest experiences
• Ability to read, interpret and process accounting and financial information
• Ensure that complaints are attended with consistency, commitment and rapidity
• Foster a climate of cooperation and effective communication amongst department
• Inspect facilities regularly to ensure that work areas are maintained to existing standard
• Host educational tours together with the Sales & Marketing Team

Profile

• A university degree / diploma in hotel management or any related field
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
• At least 3 to 4 years’ experience as an F&B Manager
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• Strong management skills
• Available to work odd hours.
