Compagnie de Beau Vallon Ltée is one of the main economic players in the Southeast of the island. We have considerably diversified our activities over the past fifteen years into key sectors such as diversified agriculture, hospitality and property development.

We are currently looking for a meticulous and professional System Administrator with the capability to be resourceful. The right candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting and proactively updating hardware and software assets to prevent downtime or zero-day exploits from occurring. He/She will also have the opportunity of developing and refining IT policies to align with the new realities, standards and needs.


  • Manage all IT infrastructure in five different sites for a total of 50 users
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to the organisation
  • Ensure proper installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, software’s, and networks
  • Monitor system performance
  • Ensure efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Set up new end-users’ accounts, profiles and workstations
  • Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting to resolve software and hardware issues
  • Ensure proper back up has been run daily for all servers within the organisation
  • Provide trainings to users of the systems to ensure that they make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure
  • Manage IT Assets by keeping a records of their allocations
  • Follow up maintenance of UPS
  • Manage the telephone system
  • Repair and replace equipment as and when required
  • Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on current procedures and systems
  • Find quotes for hardware purchases or any IT related matters whenever required
  • Liaise with all IT related service providers
  • Respond to auditors’ queries for IT related matters
  • Perform any related administrative task


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as System Administrator or relevant position
  • Certifications as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Experience with databases, networks, and patch management
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Great understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
